Who We Are
Akar Orkin Animal Rescue Program is a non-profit organization which was founded on July 2008 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Our main goal is to rescue stray animals as we put them in our care facility. We work to save stray and discarded animals in the North Zone Region of Al Ain and Abu Dhabi Lot 3
We are very proud of what our program has become. We are successful to find permanent homes for the stray and abandoned pets. We were able to provide healthcare and shelter for these stray animals. Moreover, we were able to raise public awareness and educate the community.
Most importantly, we also assist other animals who are genuinely in need of help. However, Akar Orkin depends on the generosity of volunteers. The more resources we have, the more animals we can save. Our animals need a family who will care for them and give them a healthy home.
